12V Slim Red LED Light Bar – Ambient or Bright Output (30cm, 50cm & 1m)
Create functional night-vision-friendly ambient lighting with this 12V Slim Red LED Light Bar, finished in a sleek aluminium profile for a discreet, professional appearance. Featuring red LEDs, this light is ideal for boats, campervans, caravans, motorhomes and nature observation, helping to preserve night vision while providing practical illumination.
Red lighting is particularly useful on boats and in outdoor environments as it minimises glare and eye adjustment, making it ideal for night-time navigation, stargazing, wildlife watching, and low-light interior use.
With a slim profile measuring just 6mm high and 15mm wide, the light installs neatly under cabinets, along pelmets, behind panels or in architectural features where subtle, controlled lighting is required.
Available in two output options—Ambient or Bright—you can choose a gentle low-level glow or a stronger red accent light depending on your application.

Light Output Options
The red LEDs are ideal for low-light environments where maintaining natural night vision is important.
- Ambient Version (60 LEDs/m): approx. 120 lm per metre
Ideal for subtle background lighting, night navigation and wildlife observation. - Bright Version (120 LEDs/m): approx. 240 lm per metre
Provides stronger red illumination where improved visibility is required without harsh white light.
Installation & Control
This unit is unswitched and requires an external switch, dimmer or controller.
For added convenience, a touch dimmer switch can be fitted to the light if selected at checkout.
The light is supplied with two mounting clips for secure fixing, and the slim profile allows installation in tight or concealed spaces.
Dimming & Control Options
This light is fully compatible with 12V dimmer switches and can also be connected to a dimming controller for remote operation. When used with a suitable controller and remote, the brightness can be adjusted wirelessly—ideal for leisure vehicles, boats and installations where convenient lighting control is required.
Multiple lights can be connected to a single controller, allowing grouped control of red accent lighting throughout your vehicle or space.

Delivery to the Channel Islands can take longer than the equivalent UK service and delivery times are not guaranteed.
Jersey and Guernsey are outside the UK VAT area. UK VAT is not charged, and product prices will be adjusted automatically when the relevant delivery country is selected at checkout.
Any local GST, import taxes, duties or carrier handling charges that become payable are the recipient’s responsibility.
Bulky items, including products over 80cm long, cannot currently be ordered for delivery to Jersey or Guernsey through the website. Please contact us before ordering and we will check the available courier service and provide a delivery quotation.
Remote UK Areas and Islands
A £7 delivery supplement applies to bulky items sent to certain UK remote areas and islands. Express delivery may not be available in these areas.
Affected postcode areas include BT*, HS*, IM*, ZE*, IV*, KW*, FK17–FK22, AB35–AB38, AB53–AB56, KA27–KA28, PA17–PA38, PA41–PA80, PH3, PH5–PH7, PH10–PH11, PH13–PH50, PO30–PO41 and TR21–TR25.
Choosing Your Delivery Option
Available delivery methods will be displayed during checkout. If no delivery option appears, one or more products may exceed the dimensions accepted by the available carriers. Please contact us and we will check whether an alternative service is available.
Dispatch and Tracking
- Orders are normally dispatched within one working day.
- Stocked products ordered before 3pm are usually dispatched on the same working day.
- Orders received after 3pm will normally be processed on the following working day.
- Many flexible LED strips and light bars are prepared and tested to order. During busy periods, these may require an additional working day before dispatch.
- Tracking information is provided once your order has been dispatched.
- Please allow additional time during busy periods, carrier disruption and for remote or Channel Islands deliveries.
Orders placed during the evening, at a weekend or on an English bank holiday will be treated as having been received on the morning of the next working day.
Urgent Deliveries and Collection Points
If your order is urgent, please contact us before ordering. Guaranteed delivery services may be available at an additional cost, depending on the products and destination.
