Installation Notes:

• These downlights are designed to be operated primarily using the built-in touch switch and dimmer on the outer bezel, so no separate wall switch is required for normal use.

However, they can still be connected to a traditional wall switch or master isolation switch if desired. In this setup:

• • Turning the wall switch OFF will completely remove power and turn the light off.
  • Turning the wall switch ON again will restore power to the fitting, placing the light into standby mode ready for operation.
  • The light can then be turned on and dimmed using the touch-sensitive bezel on the fitting itself.

This setup works particularly well in campervans, motorhomes, caravans, and boats where a master lighting switch or isolation switch may already be fitted.

• This fitting must not be installed into metal surfaces or where metal parts (e.g. springs or insulation foil) make contact with the unit. This is due to the conductive touch switching.
