70mm Black Surface-Mounted LED Light – Touch Dimmable, 12V/24V

This premium 70mm black surface-mounted LED light combines a built-in touch switch, smooth dimming and an ultra-slim 7.5mm profile. Designed for 12V and 24V systems, it is ideal for campervans, motorhomes, boats, caravans, horseboxes and other compact interiors where a stylish, self-contained light is required without the need to install a separate switch.

The circular halo-style diffuser provides an even spread of light, while the black anodised finish gives the fitting a clean, modern appearance. It is available in warm white or cool white and consumes just 3W while producing up to 240 lumens.

Built-In Touch Switch and Smooth Dimming

The light is operated using the discreet touch button in the centre of the fitting:

• Touch the centre button to switch the light on or off.
• Touch and hold the button to increase or reduce the brightness.
• The light remembers the selected brightness level for the next use.

Because the switch and dimmer are built into the light, it can be installed as a completely self-contained fitting. This is particularly useful in camper conversions, boats and vehicle interiors where adding a separate wall switch may be inconvenient or unnecessary.

Can Also Be Used with a Separate Wall Switch

The light can also be connected to an existing switched 12V or 24V lighting circuit. Its power-state memory means that, provided the light was switched on using the centre touch button, it will return to the same state when power is restored at the wall switch.

For example, the light can be set to the required brightness using the built-in touch control and then switched off at a wall switch. When the wall switch is turned back on, the light will illuminate again at the previously selected dimming level.

This gives you the flexibility to use:

• The built-in touch control on its own.
• A separate wall or panel switch for normal on/off operation.
• The touch control for dimming and the wall switch for convenient master control.

Please note: If the light is switched off using its centre touch button before the external supply is disconnected, it will remain off when power is restored.

Ultra-Slim Surface-Mounted Design

At only 7.5mm high, this fitting sits close to the mounting surface and does not require a large recessed cut-out. It is well suited to ceilings, cupboards, shelving, over-bed areas and other positions where installation depth or headroom is limited.

The light is supplied in two parts for straightforward installation:

1. The main light base is secured to the mounting surface through two small fixing holes.
2. The power cable exits through the rear of the fitting.
3. Once the base is installed and connected, the black anodised outer trim ring snaps into position to conceal the fixings.

Approximately 12cm of red and black power cable is supplied from the rear of the light.

Installation Notes

Connect the red cable to positive and the black cable to negative. The fitting must be connected to a suitable regulated 12V or 24V DC electrical supply and must not be connected directly to a 230V mains supply.

When using the light with a separate wall switch, first switch the light on and select the required brightness using the centre touch control. It can then be operated from the wall switch and will return to the same brightness when power is restored.
