Important Installation Information

This LED replacement board is designed to operate from a 10–30V DC supply only.

Many customers use these boards to upgrade older fluorescent light fittings in caravans, motorhomes, boats and commercial vehicles. Fluorescent fittings do not normally operate directly from 12V or 24V. Instead, they usually contain an internal electronic inverter (or ballast) which converts the low-voltage supply into the much higher voltage required to run the fluorescent tube.

The inverter/ballast must be disconnected or removed before connecting this LED board. Connecting the LED board to the output of the fluorescent inverter will damage the board and is not covered under warranty.

Once the inverter has been bypassed, the LED board should be connected directly to the original 12V or 24V DC supply.
