Upgrade your low voltage lighting with this 12V MR8 LED bulb, designed as a direct replacement for traditional 10W MR8 halogen lamps. Designed as a Direct MR8 Halogen Replacement

This 6-LED MR8 uses the same cap and physical format as standard MR8 halogen lamps, making replacement quick and straightforward — simply remove the old halogen and fit the LED.

MR8 lamps are less common than MR11.

Important – Transformer Compatibility (Household Installations)

If replacing halogen MR8 lamps in a household fitting, please check your existing transformer. Many older halogen transformers require a minimum load (for example 10W–20W) to operate correctly. As this LED lamp uses only 1W, the transformer may not function properly and could cause flickering or failure to start.

For best performance, we recommend using a low voltage constant voltage LED driver or an LED-compatible transformer designed to operate at low loads.
