1.5m RGBCWW Philips Hue Compatible Kit

This listing is for a 1.5m colour changing LED strip along with controller and an LED driver (power supply) which provides a plug and play complete lighting kit to use along with your existing Philips Hue (you must have the Philips Hue Bridge installed and operating app to use this product). The price includes the LED, controller (to communicate with your Philips Hue app) and power supply.

Our RGBCWW colour changing LED strip provides a colour changing LED strip with the benefit of a separate warm white and cool white LED for more practical lighting. Each LED unit has a red, green, blue along with separate warm white and cool white chips enclosed enabling any number of colours to be selected via the app or just warm white light, just colour white or anywhere in between. The LED can be directly controlled to set colour and brightness or can be used with one of the many automations available within the app.

Once unboxed, all that is required is for the power supply to be plugged in to the household socket and the 12V plug to be plugged into the LED controller. Once power is applied if you open the app and select ‘Add Lights’ the app will search for the unit – whilst this happens just press the ‘set’ button on the controller and the Bridge should identify and connect to the controller. Once this happens the lights will flash then you can name the light strip (e.g. Lounge shelf light) and select the type as ‘Light Bar’ and you are ready to use. The LED strip has a 3M self adhesive backing to mount to an appropriate location if required and the LED controller also includes a self adhesive pad for mounting.

The RGBCWW LED is inside a waterproof silicon outer (so suitable for kitchen use) approximately 1.5m long, 15mm wide and 5mm tall and comes with a 30cm 6-core cable attached which is connected to the controller at the other end. The power supply has a cable length of approximately 105cm.

We can make the LED strips to different specifications up to 5m long so if you require longer strips, multiple lengths running from a single controller or longer cable lengths – please contact via email with your request and we can get back with a quote. Please note, do not add any additional LED to the controller as you may take this over the capacity of the LED driver, if you require additional strips to run from this controller please email and we can advise on an appropriate LED driver to accommodate this.
