The HUEUC DR-CV-20 12V TRIAC dimmable LED driver converts 180–240V AC mains power into a stable 12V DC constant-voltage supply for compatible LED strip lights, COB LED strips, downlights and low-voltage LED fittings. Designed for smaller dimmable lighting installations, it is ideal for kitchen cupboards, shelving, display cabinets, furniture lighting, alcoves, media units and architectural feature lighting. Its mains-side TRIAC dimming, compact enclosed housing, high power factor and SELV output make it a practical, professional solution wherever smooth control of 12V LED lighting is required.

The driver is installed between the mains supply and the 12V LED lighting. When connected to a suitable LED-rated TRIAC wall dimmer, the brightness of the connected lighting can be adjusted without requiring a separate low-voltage dimming controller after the driver.

Dimming Compatibility

The DR-CV-20 is dimmed through its 180–240V AC mains input and is designed for use with a compatible LED-rated TRIAC mains dimmer.

For the best performance, we recommend using a good-quality trailing-edge electronic LED dimmer. The minimum achievable brightness and overall dimming performance may vary depending on the dimmer, the connected LED products and the total load.

This driver is not designed for use with a separate 0–10V dimming signal.

Install a compatible LED-rated TRIAC dimmer on the mains input side of the driver. The driver then converts the dimmed mains supply into a regulated 12V DC output for the connected LED lighting.

Installation Guidance

• Install the driver in a dry, suitably ventilated indoor location.
