Its higher-capacity output makes it ideal for larger dimmable lighting installations, including kitchen under-cabinet lighting, media walls, furniture, display shelving, retail interiors, architectural features and commercial lighting projects. With mains-side TRIAC dimming, a wide approximate 5–100% dimming range, high power factor and an enclosed Class II housing, it provides a neat and professional solution for adjustable 12V LED lighting.

The driver is installed between the mains supply and the 12V LED lighting. When paired with a suitable LED-rated TRIAC dimmer, the brightness can be controlled from a conventional wall-mounted mains dimmer without requiring a separate low-voltage controller after the driver.

Dimming Compatibility

The DR-CV-60-12 is dimmed through its 200–240V AC mains input and is designed for use with a compatible LED-rated TRIAC mains dimmer.

For best results, we recommend using a good-quality trailing-edge electronic LED dimmer. Dimming performance and the minimum achievable brightness can vary according to the dimmer, connected LED products and total load.

This driver is not designed for control through a separate 0–10V dimming signal.
