MiBoxer PA5 5-Channel High Performance LED Amplifier – 12V/24V 15A

The MiBoxer PA5 5-Channel LED Amplifier is designed to extend existing low-voltage LED strip installations by reproducing the control signals from a compatible PWM LED controller. Ideal for larger lighting projects, it allows additional LED strips to operate in synchronisation with the original lighting system.

Supporting 12V and 24V DC constant-voltage LED strips, the PA5 delivers up to 6A per channel, with a maximum combined output of 15A. This provides a total output capacity of up to 180W at 12V or 360W at 24V.

Its five-channel design makes it particularly useful for RGB+CCT LED strip lighting, while also supporting suitable single-colour, CCT, RGB and RGBW PWM installations.

With high-speed signal transmission and a separate power connection, the PA5 provides a practical solution for expanding LED lighting systems where the connected load would otherwise exceed the capacity of the original controller.

Expand Your LED Strip Lighting Installation

When installing longer lengths of LED strip, the maximum output rating of the original LED controller can become a limitation. Rather than replacing the controller or operating multiple independent systems, the MiBoxer PA5 LED amplifier allows additional strips to be connected while maintaining synchronised control.

The amplifier receives the PWM signal from the original controller and reproduces it across five output channels. The additional LED strips receive their power through the amplifier’s own suitably rated 12V or 24V DC supply.

This means that changes made using the original controller, whether through a compatible remote, wall panel or smart-home system, are reproduced on the LED strips connected to the amplifier.

Ideal for RGB+CCT LED Strip Systems

With five independent output channels, the PA5 is particularly suited to RGB+CCT LED strips, which require separate red, green, blue, warm white and cool white control channels.

It can reproduce the five PWM outputs from a compatible RGB+CCT controller, allowing additional LED strips to display matching colours, colour temperatures, dimming levels and lighting effects.

The amplifier can also be used with suitable lower-channel PWM systems, including:

Maintain Synchronised Lighting Across Multiple Areas

The PA5 is an excellent choice for larger lighting installations where multiple sections of LED strip need to operate together.

Installation and Compatibility

The MiBoxer PA5 must be connected to an existing compatible constant-voltage PWM LED controller and a suitably rated 12V or 24V DC power supply.

The amplifier’s power supply voltage must match the voltage required by the connected LED strips. Always ensure that the combined current does not exceed 15A and that no individual output channel exceeds 6A.

When extending longer LED strip installations, suitable cable sizing, power distribution and additional power injection may still be necessary to prevent voltage drop.

Important: The PA5 is not a standalone LED controller and cannot independently change colours or brightness. It reproduces the output signal from an existing compatible PWM controller.

It is not suitable for addressable SPI/pixel LED strips or for direct connection to mains voltage.
