Trailing-edge (electronic / TRIAC) LED dimmers
It is not compatible with:
- Leading-edge dimmers
- 0–10V dimming systems
Simple Summary
Use a trailing-edge (electronic) LED dimmer for correct operation. Do not use leading-edge or 0–10V dimmers.
For the smoothest dimming and longest driver life:
- Use a quality LED-rated trailing-edge dimmer
- Avoid very low minimum loads
- Aim to run the driver at 20–100% of its rated capacity rather than right at the limit
