Use self-tapping screws with rubber washers for weather sealing, rivets for permanent installation, or heavy-duty magnetic mounts for temporary work lights. Always seal penetrations.

Aim for 200-400 lux for cargo areas, 500+ lux for detailed work. Multiple lower-power fixtures provide better coverage than single bright lights, reducing shadows and glare.

Interior lighting doesn’t affect MOT, but ensure installations don’t obstruct driver vision or mandatory lights. External work lights must be correctly positioned and switched.
